Non-degree credentials are surging. But the data is lagging​

Alcino Donadel explains that while non-degree credentials have more than tripled in popularity since 2009, data systems and financial support mechanisms have not kept pace with this growth. According to Mark D’Amico, Workforce Pell will push states to better track and evaluate which programs meet federal criteria, expanding the data collected on these credentials.
